    Retirement

    • Prioritize legislation aimed at immediate resolution of the retirement fund challenges.

    Economy

    • Support legislation that would immediately implement viable industries such as agriculture, fishing, aquaculture.
    • Participate with Department of Commerce in further identifying driving economic forces that would translate into economic growth in Saipan and the CNMI.
    • Solve the retirement fund challenge to ensure the continued circulation of retiree dollars in Saipan and the CNMI.

    Tourism

    • Support the preservation of the Chamorro and Carolinian culture. 
    •  Support and work on Legislation to continue improvements to our airport and seaport infrastructure. 
    • Ensure MVA is adequately provided for to continually improve MVA’s efforts in marketing the CNMI.

    Healthcare

    • Support legislation aimed at improved recruitment of medical expertise/specialists for our hospital.
    • Support legislation that would ensure adequate on-island healthcare facilities, equipment, and expertise so our residents do not have to rely on off-island care.
    • Work for funding to promote health education as key to prevention of common health ailments in the CNMI, such as diabetes, and heart disease. 

    Education

    • Work for funding for school and classrooms renovation and rehabilitation projects.
    • Support PSS to revamp teacher recruiting program, or example, Partner with U.S. University and offer graduates’ incentives to teach in the CNMI via defrayment of student loans.
    • Support reduction of teacher student ratio.

    Environment

    • Work to ensure adequate ponding basins are spreadout along Saipan’s West Coast to rehabilitate the lagoon and insure its survival both for the fish habitat and tourist activities.
    • Restrict and enforce driving on beaches and designated sanctuaries.
